VAX-D - The back surgery alternative
VAX-D (Vertebral Axial Decompression) was developed by Dr. Allan Dyer, M.D., PhD in Pharmacology, former deputy minister of Health for Ontario, Canada. He’s the same doctor who developed the heart defibrillator in the 1950’s.
This table is more than a traction table that reduces the positive pressure on the disc toward 0 mm Hg. It creates a NEGATIVE 150-200 mm Hg pressure on the disc allowing a suction to occur (as proven and printed in the Journal of Neurosurgery, November 1994). This table has a 70% plus success rate with “Failed Low Backs” (as proven by the HGA Rio Grande Hospital Study in Texas). The most recent outcome study involves 778 patients with herniations and degenerated discs. Results demonstrate a 71% success rate (Neurological Research April, 1998 pages 186-190).
